These few days, there has been a surge of unexpected blessings from God...
It started with converting points into grocery vouchers with survey sites (total of $25) and then payment from my writing ($40). In addition to that, I just converted points into vouchers from my credit card (another $10). We had some GST Credits from the government ($200) and rebates for residential tax ($20.80). I'm so grateful to God for all his blessings.
It set me thinking about the fact that we all need to be grateful for all the things God has given us on a daily basis. Here's just a short list of 10 things I'm grateful for today.
1) My daughter is growing well.
2) My family is intact.
3) I have wonderful parents and in-laws and relatives.
4) I have supportive friends.
5) I have a roof over my head.
6) I am healthy.
7) I am beautiful.
8) I am given the opportunity to be closer to Him.
9) I am grateful for my upcoming career as a financial adviser.
10) I am grateful for the rain that brings more blessings into Earth for everyone to enjoy!

Remittance Advice from Spring Singapore
Just received a remittance advice for writing two pieces of articles for Spring Singapore. It was for $40 ($20 per article). I have been spending a lot these days and any little cash in would be helpful. I really must be careful of my spending.
The money will be remitted into my bank account immediately. That's great as I do not need to deposit the cheque into the bank. I'm happy that these few days, there has been some incoming benefits from my taking surveys and writing. I must get back on my feet and renew my efforts in these areas.

$10 Grocery Voucher from mySurveyAsia
This is the first time I'm redeeming 500 points for $10 NTUC voucher from mySurveyAsia. I joined in November 2008 and after 7 months, I'm finally receiving a $10 voucher as a reward. Wonder if it is worthwhile. But since I'm still not working now, I'm grateful for any money from any sources. I can always do the surveys quickly and not have to spend too much time. I hope to get more survey opportunities, so that there'll be more vouchers that I can get from survey companies.

$15 Grocery Voucher for Completing Surveys
Recently, I redeemed 260 points for $15 NTUC voucher from YourVoice. It is a local online survey company. I have been participating and completing surveys for them for a few years. Every couple of months, I'd get the chance to redeem some points for vouchers. I like it a lot! One of my best survey sites I have believed in...

My New Netbook - What Happened?
Two days ago, my netbook could not be switched on. It happened when it was on low batt, but before I had the chance to plug in the cable to charge it, it shut off. Subsequently, I could not switch it on again, even though we tried with a fully charged battery. We also tried taking out the battery and plug in the cable only, did not work either. So I had to send it for repairs. It's going to take 7 WORKING days!
It will only be ready on 11 June 2009. Sigh! No MSN till then. I miss it already...
I will also be looking into repairing my Acer laptop. Many people said that because it is running on Windows Vista, there are many problems related to it. I can't download a lot of programs. I'm going to consolidate all my files and then submit it to Acer counter right after my netbook is returned from repairs. Then I would have two working computers to work with. Already, there are 2 laptops and 2 netbooks in this house. Just have to make sure all are in working order so that we have back-ups.
